Mahamana Shikshan Sansthan (Bhaorao Deoras Seva Nyas) is a social organisation, dedicated to provide free education to weakest of the sections of the community across all barriers of caste, creed and religion.
Mahamana Shikshan Sansthan is a part of Bhaorao Deoras Seva Nyas, which was established in the year 1993 under Presidentship of Bharat ratna Late Atal Bihari Bajpai, former Prime Minister of India. The trust is having it's registerd office at Saraswati kunj, Nirala Nagar, Lucknow. The main objective of the Nyas is to provide 360 degree development of the economically and socially deprived class.The nyas conducts a wide variety of services & programmes towards this end. The Trust is already running Madhav Seva Ashram, situated opposite SGPGI, Lucknow for the care takers of the patients. Similarly the nyas is also running Vishram Sadans at King George's Medical University, Lucknow; All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna, for needy.
Mahamana Shikshan Sansthan aims to identify intelligent students from weak family background and to help them prepare for exams like IIT (JEE) & NEET (PMT).
Such students, who have intelligence & strength to crack such exams but lack financial and other resources to achieve their fullest potential, are first identified then admitted to a coveted educational programme. It is a residential programme, where the students are provided with best of education, books and access to quality of coaching classes / tuition facilities to upgrade
their knowledge and skills to meet the gruelling requirements of cut throat competition in IIT (JEE) / NEET (PMT) course.
Prominent Features of Nyas constitution:
- To design and implement various projects through the formation of educational, health and culture centres for the up-liftment of socially and economically downtrodden.
- To enrol a team of dedicated workers with a zeal for selfless service for implementation of various projects and to provide training and life support to them.
- Nyas will promote, help and coordinate the activities of Indian culture and nationalistic outlook based educational and social organizations/institutions.
- Workers of Nyas to the best of their abilities will create conducive environment in hills and tribal areas hitherto not accessible and ventured into for their total development.
- To increase the public awareness programs on problems and envisaged solutions for backward areas through preparation and distribution of relevant literature, audio & video cassettes.
- To organize meetings, workshops, exhibitions and lecture series, where workers can use the above mediums to propagate the message of the Nyas.
Nyas is registered as a trust (as a non-profit organization) with registration No.27/29 - 12-93.
